Drafting a Will
Drafting a Will is a very important issue here in North Cyprus. However, according to Laws of TRNC, the person drafting a Will cannot leave everything he owns to anyone he wants. There are some specific rules.
IF A PERSON DOESN’T HAVE A WILL:
1. 1/6 will go to his/her wife/husband;
IF A PERSON HAS A WILL:
1. Wife/husband will inherit 50% and the rest will go to children in equal shares;
(The position regarding British citizens is different)
