Repair work began on the section of the Nicosia-Iskele road
On November 2, in Northern Cyprus, maintenance and repair work began on the section of the Nicosia-Iskele road between the Erkan and Iskele intersections.
As a result of phased restoration work on the highway, damaged sections of the road and dividing barriers between the lanes will be repaired.
It is planned that road repair work will last no more than 2 months, depending on weather conditions.
In the process, 5,700 tons of asphalt will be used on an area of about 41,000 m2, and new marking will also be done using thermoplastic paint.
Maintenance and repair of the road will cost 2.4 million Turkish liras.
